BASEBALL
The baseball season is the longest, extending from April through October. There are two leagues, the National and American, each with an Eastern and Western Division. Each team plays 162 games during the season, and at the end of the regular season the best teams in the Eastern and Western division of each league play up to seven games with each other in a playoff series. The American and National League winners of these series then play each other in the "World Series". Despite the name, only American and Canadian teams can play in the "World Series."
