Auto racing is the number one spectator sport in the United States, and is particularly popular in the South and West. Varieties of auto racing include formula one, stock cars, and drag racing, as well as truck and tractor pulls (where trucks pull heavy loads across dirt tracks) and other specialty auto events. Auto shows and exhibitions are also extremely popular
